## Explore the Security Ecosystem

As AI systems become more autonomous and deeply integrated into critical infrastructure, the attack surface expands dramatically. Traditional security measures—designed for deterministic software—fail to account for the probabilistic nature of language models and the adversarial creativity of bad actors.

Today, we are announcing the Security Layer—a unified defense architecture that brings together our research in NLP-based moderation, cognitive safety, and behavioral analysis into a single, coherent protection framework.

Most AI security solutions focus on a single vector: prompt injection filters, content moderation, or rate limiting. But real-world attacks are multi-dimensional. A sophisticated attacker will:

No single defense layer can address all of these vectors simultaneously. What is needed is a defense-in-depth approach—multiple, independent layers that compensate for each other's blind spots.

The Security Layer is YecoAI's answer to this challenge. It unifies four distinct defense mechanisms under a single orchestration framework:

Powered by Aegis Engine's Logistic Regression model with char-level TfidfVectorizer. Classifies content into 5 risk tiers with adaptive confidence scoring.

Tracks user behavior across time windows to detect distributed toxicity, split attacks, and coordinated campaigns that only become visible in aggregate.

Deep inspection of external links, invite metadata, and embedded resources. Identifies phishing, NSFW content, and malicious redirects before users interact.

Cross-channel monitoring of media distribution patterns, message frequency anomalies, and behavioral signatures that indicate automated or coordinated attacks.

At the heart of the Security Layer lies Aegis Engine, our high-performance moderation framework. With its Aegis Normalizer for intent reconstruction and its multi-tier risk classification system, Aegis Engine provides the first line of defense—processing \~2,400 messages per second with sub-millisecond latency.

The Security Layer extends Aegis Engine's capabilities by adding orchestration logic that coordinates all four defense layers, manages alert escalation, and provides a unified security dashboard for operators.

The core moderation engine powering the Security Layer.

A critical innovation in the Security Layer is its context-awareness. The same message can be harmless in one context and threatening in another. "Kill the parent process" is standard terminology in systems programming; the same words in a different channel carry a very different meaning.

The Security Layer maintains contextual awareness across channels, user roles, and conversation history to make intelligent decisions about when to act and when to allow—reducing false positives without compromising safety.

The Security Layer is the foundation upon which we will build increasingly sophisticated defense mechanisms. Our roadmap includes adaptive learning from community-specific patterns, cross-platform threat intelligence sharing, and integration with our Cognitive Layer for protecting autonomous AI agents.

Security is not a feature you add—it is an architecture you build. With the Security Layer, YecoAI is establishing a new standard for proactive, intelligent defense in AI-powered communities.

- Obfuscate toxic content to bypass keyword filters
- Distribute attacks across messages to evade temporal detection
- Exploit context ambiguity to inject malicious instructions
- Flood channels with media to overwhelm simple rate limiters
